"We want to hear from readers with “smaller than average” families. Are you a single parent  coping with sorting out your kids on your own? Or perhaps you’re part of a nuclear family but  choose to travel alone with just one child for special “one on one” time.

What are the major issues you face, and how do you deal with them? Do you take on the challenge of holidays alone, or have you brought along a family member or grandparent as support?   

Have you found a great holiday deal aimed at single parents? Did you choose to visit a resort, travel independently or perhaps go cruising? Have you attempted a road trip alone, and what were the major challenges?
