Natalie Ebrill natalie
Child and Family Health Nurse
The Sleeping Baby Consultant

Founder of Sleep and Settle®
Mother of Three Daughters
RN Diploma in Applied Science (Nursing) University of Newcastle
Post Grad Diploma in Health Science (Health Promotion) University of Newcastle
CFHN Post Grad cert in Child and Family Health University of Western Sydney/Karitane
Breastfeeding Counsellor.

Natalie lives in Merewether, a beachside suburb of Newcastle NSW Australia, with her three daughters Lauren, Jennifer and Rebecca. Her life revolves around  ‘wearing out’ the girls at the beach, summer and winter (to encourage sleep!), homework and assignments (times three!), lots of ‘pink’ in the house (we are girls after all), music (to dance to in he kitchen), laughter (the best medicine), great meals and good wine with her beautiful friends and family (my wonderful lifelines).

After growing up in a family with three younger professional football playing brothers, having three daughters is a bit of a shock and each day is a learning curve involving lots of deep breathing and negotiating, especially for bathroom time and to wear her own shoes! Natalie enjoys the love and support of her amazing parents and family and loves watching her daughters grow up with their cousins, aunties, uncles and grandparents.

After working happily as a Child and Family Health Nurse, Natalie realized that parents needed more information and support in solving their children’s sleeping and settling problems than what was practical in the clinic visit. Natalie established her private consulting business Sleep and Settle® in 2004.

Natalie prides herself on respecting that every baby is an individual and every family unique. She likes to empower parents with information, confidence and personal choices. Combining her personal and professional experience as a mother and a Child and Family Health Nurse allows Natalie to provide a holistic approach to solving children’s sleeping problems addressing sleeping, feeding, playing and bedroom environment issues. The solution is never just about the sleep.

Paul MischelPaul Mischel knows what it means to be a Dad Flying Solo having experienced the effects of divorce and single parenting at the age of 27.  In early 2001, when his eldest son Kobi was 18 months old, Paul and his ex-wife separated under amicable circumstances. This led Paul to re-evaluate his life, career, personal goals and redefine what it meant to be a father.

Paul has since re-married and found love a second time with his wife Dana. Together they have an energetic, mischievous 3 year old son named Liam and actively co-parent Kobi.

Marrying a second time presented Paul with new insights into life after divorce and once again gave him with an opportunity to re-evaluate what it means to be a husband, and father to two boys.

Professionally, Paul is a highly skilled trainer and facilitator who possesses a strong focus on ensuring participants gain practical transferable skills from his workshops. Paul holds professional industry recognised qualifications in Workplace Training and Assessment, trainer level qualifications in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), two formal qualifications in Hypnotherapy, numerous qualifications in natural therapies and has attained black belt instructor level qualifications in the Mae Paem Tao martial arts system.

In private clinical practice, Paul has coached and worked with professional athletes, actors, business executives and individuals utilizing Hypnotherapy, Counselling and NLP processes to improve their health, performance and mindsets. He is a regular contributor of sports nutrition and performance related articles to GNC Livewell's quarterly newsletter which is circulated to 200,000 readers Australia wide and has also had two articles on Self Hypnosis for martial artists published by Blitz magazine, Australia's premier martial arts publication.

Paul has seen first hand how amazing and resourceful human beings are and how capable they are of making positive change in their lives. He brings a solution oriented, optimistic, fun and playful style to his workshops and firmly believes that learning is far too important to be taken seriously.
