Natalie Ebrill Child and Family Health Nurse The Sleeping Baby Consultant Newborns to five years
Founder of Sleep and Settle® Mother of Three Daughters RN Diploma in Applied Science (Nursing) University of Newcastle Post Grad Diploma in Health Science (Health Promotion) University of Newcastle CFHN Post Grad cert in Child and Family Health University of Western Sydney/Karitane Breastfeeding Counsellor.
Natalie lives in Merewether, a beachside suburb of Newcastle NSW Australia, with her three daughters Lauren, Jennifer and Rebecca. Her life revolves around ‘wearing out’ the girls at the beach, summer and winter (to encourage sleep!), homework and assignments (times three!), lots of ‘pink’ in the house (we are girls after all), music (to dance to in he kitchen), laughter (the best medicine), great meals and good wine with her beautiful friends and family (my wonderful lifelines).
After growing up in a family with three younger professional football playing brothers, having three daughters is a bit of a shock and each day is a learning curve involving lots of deep breathing and negotiating, especially for bathroom time and to wear her own shoes! Natalie enjoys the love and support of her amazing parents and family and loves watching her daughters grow up with their cousins, aunties, uncles and grandparents.
After working happily as a Child and Family Health Nurse, Natalie realized that parents needed more information and support in solving their children’s sleeping and settling problems than what was practical in the clinic visit. Natalie established her private consulting business Sleep and Settle® in 2004.
Natalie prides herself on respecting that every baby is an individual and every family unique. She likes to empower parents with information, confidence and personal choices. Combining her personal and professional experience as a mother and a Child and Family Health Nurse allows Natalie to provide a holistic approach to solving children’s sleeping problems addressing sleeping, feeding, playing and bedroom environment issues. The solution is never just about the sleep.
Natalie now provides:
